Born on 14 October 1961 in Zlatno, Romania. He graduated from the Ballet School in Cluj-Napoca in 1980, from the class of professor Ioakim Pura. Between 1980 and 1984, he was a member of the Romanian National Opera in Cluj-Napoca. In the season of 1984/1985, he was a member of the Ballet Ensemble of the theatre Bühnen der Stadt in Magdeburg, Germany and in the season of 1985/1986 he was a member of the Ballet Ensemble of Opernhaus in Leipzig. In 1986, he became a member of the Ballet Ensemble of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, where he remained up to 2018, when he retired at his own request.

In his long and prolific career, he has had the privilege and honour of collaborating with first-class teachers, choreographers and dancers such as Oleg Danovschi, Dietmar Seyffert, Waclaw Orlikovski, Vasco Wellenkamp, Milko Šparemblek, Youri Vamos, Ashley Page, Rudolf Nureyev, Peter Schaufuss, Anna Razzi, Peter Breuer, Roberto Bolle, Vogel Friedmann, Vladimir Malakhov and many more.

He has performed in the entire repertoire, with roles ranging from ensemble member to leading role, such as that of Franz in the ballet ˝Coppelia˝ or Adam in ˝Creation of the World˝. He has also appeared as a guest performer in shows by Komedija Theatre, SNG Ljubljana, the ballet troupe ˝Croatia˝, as well as on broadcasts of the Croatian national television.

He has had the opportunity to present his ballet skills in around 30 countries throughout the world, such as the USA, Russia, China, Italy, United Kingdom, Canada, Indonesia and others.

In addition to his activity as a performer, he has also had a fruitful career in teaching. His path as an educator began when he assumed leadership of the Ballet Studio at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, after which he joined the Zagreb Dance Company and the Ballet Ensemble of the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, where he worked as a teacher and ballet master on important shows such as Giselle, The Nutcracker, Coppelia and Alice in Wonderland.

In 2004, he started working as the art director of the ballet school ˝Carlotta Grisi˝ Umag, for which he created 32 full-length ballet shows. The school has received the Award of the City of Umag for exceptional contributions to culture, and the school’s students have received awards at the events "Istra pleše" Pazin, TREPS Zagreb, Prag Dance Open and others. For four years in a row, the school has also been organising a summer ballet camp in Umag that involves participants and teachers from all over the world.

Between 1994 and 1996, he was the choreographer and art director of the Zagreb Majorettes, and during this time he implemented the first reform of majorette dance in Croatia.

Starting in 2004 and ending in 2018, he was employed as the art director of the ballet school ˝Carlotta Grisi˝ Umag, for which he created 32 full-length ballet shows. The school has received the Award of the City of Umag for exceptional contributions to culture, and the school’s students have received awards at the events "Istra pleše" Pazin, TREPS Zagreb, Prague Dance Open and others. For four years in a row, the school has also been organising a summer ballet camp in Umag that involves participants and teachers from all over the world.

In the late 2018, he became the art director of the new Carlotta Grisi Dance Centre in Umag. He has been invited as judge or jury member to Roma Dance Open 2018, "Istra pleše 2018", "TREPS 2018", “PLESOMANIJA 2018 Buzet and “Rolly Dance Open 2018 Maribor Slovenia”.
